The incumbent governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, has, with a wide margin defeated nine other contenders seeking the governorship ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Information reaching Blueprintng has it that the governor pulled about 3, 127 votes with his closest rival pulling only 110 votes.
It was also gatbered that two aspirants stepped down for the Kogi governor.
Although the official results have not been made public but in his official Facebook page, one of the governor’s aides, Kingsley Olorun Fanwo, hinted.
