Breaking: Yoruba Nation leader resigns

The leader of the Yoruba self-self determination struggle, Prof. Banji Akintoye has resigned.His resignation was made known in a statement by the group’s General Secretary, Tunde Amusat, on Thursday.

Prof. Wale Adeniran has now been handed over the leadership of the group.

The statement further indicated that his resign is as a result of old age and a weakened body system as Akintoye’s reasons.
