The Kaduna Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) on Wednesday morning sealed off the headquarters of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company popularly known as NEPA building.
Blueprint reports that the building was sealed over tax liabilities amounting to N464,486,991.53k, being arrears of tax between 2012 and 2018 years of assessment.
Sources close to the company revealed that Kaduna electric is known for defaulting statutory payments
“Pension remittance of staff is a huge problem. Both former and current staff are owed pension remittance up to two to four years,” a source revealed.
