Buhari/APC: Blame shifting, divide and rule strategy

The budget was recently signed by the president.
But as a norm, the budget was not just signed, a long speech accompanied it in which a sacrificial lamb had to be placed on the ‘blame altar’ by the presidency to win sympathy and pitch Nigerians against a ‘perceived enemy’ to development.
The sacrificial lamb this time around is the legislature.
It is wrong to join the bandwagon criticising and directing hate towards the National Assembly without accepting the complicity of the presidency in the whole saga.
Despite all the grammars and reservations, having conveniently shifted the blame for his forseen future failures, he signed the budget.
All the blame shifting and drama are unnecessary; for these issues shouldn’t have been there in the first place owing to the fact that the FG (the Executive and Legislature) is led by the APC as a party.
The points highlighted by the President before the budget was signed points to the fact that the APC has failed to deliver the change it promised Nigerians.
As the President, he commands a lot of influence which he has not been able to utilise to the benefit of Nigerians.
But the presidency has utilised it in ensuring and clearing the paths for PMB to secure the party’s ticket to contest again.
This said National Assembly is led by APC.
The National Assembly cannot just be singled out, and made to look like they are the clog on the path of Nigeria’s success.
The President has failed Nigerians, the APC exco and NEC has failed Nigerians, for not being able instill discipline and call supposed erring members that are deviating from the core mandates of the party to order.
If the Presidency will afterwards sign the budget as padded, why then the hue and cries? Why the delay? This is typical of a hypocritical government.
Responsible governments own up to their mistakes and undoings.
They always blaming others for what they are suppose to do and that which they ought not to do, with the intent of absolving themselves of wrong doings or mistakes reveals their cluelessness, purposelessness, planlessness for Nigerians.
With all these, they all have no moral rectitude to remain in power or governance.
