President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Dan C. Anyanwu as the Provost of the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary (General Services Office) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGN), Olusegun A. Adekunle.
The statement said the appointment takes effect from July 25, 2018 for initial period of four years.
According to him, the President charged the new provost to transform the institution into an enviable national academic and moral centre of excellence.
