Buhari commissions N1.4b dual carriage roads, drainage within FUD

President Muhammad Buhari has commissioned 4.5 kilometre roads project worth N1.4 Billion within the Federal University Dutse, Jigawa state.

President Buhari, represented by the Minister of interior rtd Lt General Abdurrahman Bello Dambazau (rtd) said the project was funded by the office of the secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF through the ecological office.

“No part of the country would suffer  neglect owing to its geopolitical location or political consideration, president Buhari’s commitment to continue with the implementation of all genuine government policies is ensured”, he said.

The Minister also promised to construct fire service office with modern equipment for the university.

He said, “I would do all my best to convince the federal government for the release of more fund for second phase of the projects in the University”.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of the University, professor Fatima Batoul Mukhtar ‎explained that the project include 4.5 km roads and 2.1km drainage that had been done to the test of the institution.

She commended the federal government, particularly the office of the SGF for the release of the fund used in completing the projects.
