Buhari’ll build on his 2015 campaign promises – Masari

The Katsina state Governor, Aminu Bello Masari has said that re-elected President Muhammadu Buhari will build on the three key areas he promised in his 2015 campaign.

The governor made the disclosure Wednesday in Katsina shortly after the president was declared the winner of February 23, 2019 presidential election.

He stated that the three key areas to be built upon include security, economic revival and fighting corruption.

“The president will look at the progress achieved in these areas and shortcomings. New ways will be devised to strengthen them “he stressed.

Masari pledged that the president will lay a solid foundation for the progress, unity and development of the country.

The governor said the election has shown the acceptability of the president by all sections of the country which he added will further strengthened its peace and unity.

He similarly thanked Nigerians for coming out en masse to vote for the president, praising the people of Katsina state for their solidarity to the president by giving 100% support for him during the election.

He urged eligible voters in the state to also come out during the gubernatorial election to vote for all the APC candidates.

Similarly, Masari cautioned opposition against embarrassing self-help, advising them to take the option of legal redress if they have any issue with the election.
