Buni charges Nigeria’s envoy to US on beneficial relationship

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has charged Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Dr Uzoma Emenike on beneficial relationship between the two countries.

Buni stated this Saturday when he led a delegation to Umuahia, Abia state to condole with the family of the Ambassador who lost her mother, Lady Felicia Olaocha Ohadiugha.

Governor Buni who was accompanied by the Deputy Senate President Omo Agege, Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Ahmed Idris Wase, Governor Hope Uzodima of Imo state and Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, several members of the
National Assembly and Miinister of state Petroleum Resources, Timipere Sylva, said Ambassador Uzoma has been quite resourceful in managing the diplomatic ties between the two countries.

He commended the Ambassador for the good representation of Nigeria in the US.

“Nigeria is in dire need of beneficial partnership and collaboration to help the country overcome its challenges and develop.

“Nigeria also needs your professional expertise to cement the relationship between Nigeria and the US” Buni said.

He described the life of Lady Felicia as “a life well spent and her death was a celebration of life.”

Buni prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Ambassador Uzoma, expressed appreciation with Governor Buni and members of the delegation who went to commiserate with her family.

She described it as a show of love to the family at this moment of celebrating their mother’s life.
