National chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Yobe state governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has received the committee report on Kwara state membership registration and revalidation exercise.
Buni, however, assured that the party will study the report carefully and apply it justly in the interest of all the party members.
In a statement released Tuesday in Abuja by the governor’s director general, press and media, Mamman Mohammed, commended the committee for executing its duties diligently and, within time frame.
According to the statement, governor Buni while receiving the report Monday night in Abuja, called on party stakeholders and members to support the party and its leadership in the course of repositioning the ruling party.
Also speaking, chairman of the appeal committee for the APC membership registration, revalidation exercise, Hon. Farouk Adamu Aliyu, described the report as objective, emphasising the party’s interest over and above personal interests.
