C/River SDP governorship candidate advises youth against violence

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Cross River, Mr Eyo Ekpo, has advised the youths to be wary of desperate politicians who would want to arm them to disrupt the electoral process.

Ekpo gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Calabar.

His condemned the recent killing of Mr Ayuk Ogar, PDP Chairman, Bendeghe-Ekiem Ward of the state and three others.

According to him, the incident should serve as a lesson to all youths in the state, stressing that those on whose behalf the deceased died would only “give peanuts to their families and life goes on.”

“The families of the politicians are usually nowhere near the scene of these crimes; so our youths should open their eyes and be wise. (NAN)
