CAF Champions League: Kano Pillars off to Ghana ahead Ashate Kotoko clash

Nigeria representative Kano Pillars Friday morning left through Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja for the second leg in group stage of CAF Champions League against Asante Kotoko of Ghana.

The second leg is scheduled for Sunday in Kumasi, and the Sai Masu Gida side are expected to begin training immediately they touch down.

“We are well prepared for the game, knowing that it will be tough out there, but we hope to get a decent result and qualify for the group stage,” coach Ibrahim Musa stated.

The game is scheduled on Sunday at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi by 4:00pm Nigerian time.
