The preliminary rounds draws for the continental football showpiece , the CAF Champions league and Confederation Cup will be conducted Monday by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) by 2pm local time.
The trio of Rivers United , Plateau United and Remo Stars already qualified to represent the country while Rivers and Plateau United will jostle for honours in the prestigious CAF Champions League by virtually of winning the Nigerian league and runners-up respectively.
Third-placed Remo Stars and yet be to determined 2022 Aiteo Cup champions will play in the Confederation Cup.
According to report coming from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the draw will be conducted on Monday at its office.
In the first round, the first leg will come up on the 9th – 11th and the second leg from 16th -19th, 2022 while the second round first have fixed for the 7th – 9th and the second leg from 14th -16th October 2022.
The Confederation Cup additional round will have its first leg on the 2nd and 9th of November 2022.
The Nigeria Football Federation has already submitted the list of its representatives and will pay fine for whoever win Aiteo Cup to make up fourth representative.
