CAF, NFF, Ideye celebrate Emenike @ 31

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigeria international Brown Ideye have sent birthday wishes to former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, who turns 31 today -Thursday, May 10 CAF, NFF and Ideye took to their verified Twitter handle to send their birthday wishes to Emenike.
“Happy 31st birthday to Nigeria international, Emmanuel Emenike,” CAF wrote on their Twitter handle. According to the NFF: “Happy Birthday Afcon 2013 joint top scorer, Emmanuel Emenike.” Ideye wrote:”Happy birthday @E29EMENIKE myyyyyyyyy!! Brother More life.” Emenike was a key member of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, scoring four goals.
He also made the Eagles’ squad to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil providing the assist for Nigeria’s goal scored by Osaze Odemwingie in their 1-0 group stage win against Bosnia Herzegovina. At club level, he played for Fenerbahce, West Ham, Karabukspor, Spartak Moscow, and joined relegated Spanish side Las Palmas on loan from Olympiakos but did not make any appearance.
