CAFCC: Enyimba in tough group, battle Orlando Pirates, ES Setif of Algeria

Enyimba have been drawn in a fairly tough Group A of the Confederation Cup alongside South African giants Orlando Pirates, Ahli Benghazy from Libya and ES Setif of Algeria.

Two-time African champions Enyimba qualified for the group stage of the competition after they eliminated local rivals Rivers United 5-4 on penalties after aggregate scores stood at 1-1.

‘The People’s Elephant’ will begin their campaign on March 10 at home against Ahli Benghazy.

Enyimba will be aiming to become the first Nigerian club to win this competition, which was founded in 2004.

Raja Casablanca from Morocco, Etoile Sahel and CS Sfaxien of Tunisia as well as Pyramids from Egypt are in the group stage of the competition
