CBN, APAAC partner to boost advertising

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has pledged to continue its support to the Advertising Practitioners’ Association, Abuja Chapter (APAAC) in a bid to grow the profession.

The Director, Corporate Communications Department of CBN, Mr. Isaac Okorafor made the statement recently when he received the newly elected members of APAAC led by its Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu to his office recently.

Mr. Okoroafor said that they will recommend a representative to the APAAC monthly meetings that comes up every first Wednesday of the month.

He also pledged that staff of the Communication Department of CBN will attend all relevant APCON seminars and also identify with APAAC at all times.

Responding, the APAAC chairman noted that the recent APAAC election brought the new executive members with a three point agenda of growing APAAC, Professionalism and Entrepreneurship.

He further said their visit is to thank CBN’s management for the support shown it in all its programme, soliciting for collaboration to move the chapter forward and grow the advertising profession.
