Champions Enyimba top money list

Nigeria champions Enyimba pocketed a total of 70 million Naira from the League Management Company (LMC) to top the money list for last season.
This is according to an official publication of the league for the past season.
A breakdown of these earnings from the league, showed the seven-time champions received 40 million Naira, like all the other 19 clubs in the league.
They were also paid a record-making prize money of 30 million Naira.
Kano Pillars were paid 15 million Naira when they won a third straight championship two seasons ago.

For the past season, runners-up Warri Wolves were paid 22.5 million Naira, while third-placed Nasarawa United got 15 million Naira.
Bottom club Bayelsa United received the least cash – 3 million Naira – with relegated clubs FC Taraba (3,150,000 Naira), Kwara United (3,600,000 Naira) and Sharks (3,750,000 Naira) also adding to their bank balance.
These earnings are in addition to the flat rate of 40 million Naira each team received for featuring in the league.
