Champions League: My magic wand ‘ll send Liverpool crashing at return leg –Pep boasts

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has slammed Liverpool fans for attacking the club’s bus before the 3-0 defeat at Anfield.

Guardiola said they believe in their strength to turn the game around at the Etihad next Tuesday, insisting that he has no complaints with his players’ performance.

Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mane netted at Anfield.

He said, ““I don’t have too many regrets or complaints. Nobody believes but we have another game.

“They had two attacks and scored two goals. That was tough but for the rest of the game we were so, so good. We had to score a goal but they defended more.
“We have to accept it and now we have [Manchester] United at home and then Liverpool at home.

“We see what happens. Of course it is difficult but we believe.”.

The Reds were forced to issue a statement apologising to City after the visitors’ team bus was damaged by their fans as they arrived at Anfield.
