Chibok to Dapchi parents’ visit postponed

The earlier scheduled visit by the parents of the still missing Chibok girls to Dapchi to sympathise with the parents of the 110 abducted Dapchi school girls has been postponed till further notice.
This was disclosed by the chairman of the Dapchi Abducted School Girls Parent Association, Alhaji Kachalla, in a chat with Blueprint in Damaturu.
“Initially the visits was organised by the parents of the Chibok abducted School girls to the parents of the Dapchi abducted school girls to sympathise with us on the unfortunate incident and also share experiences.
“I heard that there is a plan by President Muhammad Buhari to visit the state, may be that is the reason of postponing the visit to later date,” he said.
The visit by the Chibok parents “will serve as trauma healing and counselling to the parents in Dapchi on how best to manage the situation since they share the same experience.”
Parents in Dapchi still look up to God and the federal government for the release of their abducted daughters sooner or later.
