A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state, Barr. Macdonald Obasuke, has donated a Toyota Sienna space bus and motorcycles to Owan West local government chapter of the party in the State.
Obasuke who is the South South representative on the board of North East Development Commission said his motivation to give out to his party was based on President Mohammadu Buhari’s developmental agenda and the APC reformation believe in party discipline and supremacy.
According to him, “The vehicle and the motorcycles will ease their (party members) movement because the Governorship Primaries and general elections are fast approaching”.
Chief Edith Ayeni presented the donation to the local government party chairman at the weekend on behalf of the donor.
Chairman of the party in the locality, Comrade Lugard Alukpe, received the vehicle on behalf of the party.
Mr. Austin Oke, the Assistant Youth leader, ward 11, also benefited from the empowerment with a brown new motorcycle.
Oke appealed to party faithfuls in the locality to work in unionism ahead of the party primaries and the general elections.
