Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has now scored four goals in the Chinese Super League (CSL) after his brace on Sunday against Beijing Renhe FC.
He hit target in the 35th and 66th minutes as Shanghai Shenhua cruised to a 5-1 home win over a team that paraded Nigeria winger Sone Aluko for the entire duration of the game.
It was their second win in the league.
They are now eighth on the table with six points from four matches.
Last season, Ighalo netted 21 goals in the CSL.
