The praise team of the Christ Oriented Assembly, Kuje Sunday organised an annual musical concert with the theme: Streams of Praise. The event drew many musical artistes from within and outside the area
Declaring the concert open, Assistant Pastor of the Church, Ahmed Adugah, said the programme was designed for spiritual upliftment and not for mere entertainment.
He urged the congregation to get soaked in worship and not spectators spreading fake news.
Also speaking, the praise team leader, Mr. Obinna Alexander Okezie, called on all invited musical groups to imbibe the spirit of synergy so as to learn from each other and grow spiritually in their areas of calling, saying, the programme was not designed for competition but for worship and fellowship with God.
In his sermon, the senior pastor of the Church, Pastor Emmanuel U. Isah, emphasised that the purpose of creation is worship.
He charged the musical groups to cultivate the spirit of humility during ministration and allow the spirit of God to take control of their conduct.
He further stated that, where prayer could not reach, praise and worship would take them there.
“Worship is always done in spirit and there is no limitation,” he said.
