Christian community in Yobe commends Buni for devt strides

The Christian Unity forum zone ‘B’ in Yobe state, have Wednesday paid a solidarity visit on the Governor Mai Mala Buni at the government House Damaturu.

Convener of the forum, Mr. Emmanuel Degubi, said the visit was to endorse Buni’s administration for its focus on development.

He commended the Buni led administration for giving equal treatment to all faiths and ethnic groups in the state.

Various speakers at the occasion commended the governor for spreading road construction, healthcare delivery, educational development, water supply, among others without recourse to religious, ethnic and political differences.

Speaking, the coordinator Christian Pilgrims, Mr. Yahaya Koya, said the governor appointed him without knowing him.

“The government of Yobe state supported our recent visit to Isreal.We appreciate the good efforts of Governor Buni and assure our loyalty to your administration,” Koya said.

Governor Buni commended members of the forum for their support and encouragement.

“This visit gives us the encouragement to improve on our achievements in providing the people of Yobe state with people oriented projects.

“This administration will continue to be just and fair to all manners of people without consideration to religious and ethnic differences among the people,” Buni said.
