The All Progressives Congress (APC has urged Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and the 36 states governors in the country.
APC stated this in its Christmas message made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Tuesday by the Oyo state publicity secretary of the party, Dr Abdulazeez Olatunde.
The party stressed that the prayers will go a long way in leading our leaders aright towards moving the country out of the various challenges it is presently facing.
“Whilst celebrating the yuletide season, we appeal to everyone to remember our leaders from President Muhammadu Buhari to all our 36 State Governors in Nigeria in our Prayers to have divine support in order to lead us out of the challenges of unemployment of our young children, security challenges, infrastructural decay and other daunting tasks afflicting our country in the year 2020 in their policy formulations”, it said.
It added that there is the need for “everyone to celebrate with moderation and be security conscious around us.”
“we want to at the same time call our attention to the essence of the celebration, which is the radiation of love, joy, happiness and peace amongst ourselves because Jesus Christ symbolises love, joy, happiness, peace and lots more,” the statement added.
