The General Overseer, House of Purpose Ministry, Kaduna, Pastor Yakubu Yusuf, has urged Nigerian women to maintain their dignity and remain the bastion of home and nation building, to address the challenges bedeviling the country.
Addressing the 2019 Women Convention of House of Purpose held in Kaduna on Monday, Pastor Yakubu, said God has bestowed some qualities in women that if properly harnessed can help to bring succour to the many challenges confronting the nation.
According to him a virtuous woman is not only a home builder but a nation builder, saying that many crises faced by the country could have been avoided if women have taken their proper role.
He expressed dismay that many women today have forgotten their role as wife and mother and it is time for rebuilding the home in order to rebuild the nation.
Speaking on the theme of the Convention ‘Woman of substances’ Pastor Yakubu said, “every woman has a substance deposited in her. They need to look inward for them to be able to bring out the substance and use it for mankind and kingdom of God.
“Our women must continue to be home keepers and ministering to their husbands. If you did not do these things you might lose your husband to another lady, because in this end time there are women that are equipped by the Devil to destroy homes and marriages.”
Pastor Rhoda Yakubu, in her remarks, said that the price of a virtuous woman cannot be estimated, saying that the heart of any woman’s husband safely thrust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
“She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life and he is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.”
