Collation of results begin in states; elections go on in Jigawa, Abia, others

Collation of results from various local government areas to states’ capial have just begun, shortly after the outcome of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections from wards were collated and submitted at some council area headquarters.

Blueprint gathered that while some politicians are already jubilating, others are counting their loses especially in Senatorial zones and House of Representatives constituencies.

Meanwhile, elections continued in some polling centres across the country.

Jigawa and Abia are among the state’s where elections are still on, following reported mild disruptions in those areas.

The Independent Natiinal Electoral Commission (INEC) are yet to officially announce election would be rescheduled in states where serious security issues hampered outcome of the polls in their various polling areas.

So far, the commission has announced that Rivers, Lagos and Anambra state.
