Community leader harps on peaceful coexistence in Kaduna

A community leader in Kaduna state and Garkuwan Ungwar Rimi in Kaduna North LGA, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, has appealed to the residents of the state to continue to live in peace and harmony in order to attract more development and investors.

Speaking in an interactive session with reporters on Tuesday in Kaduna, Garkuwan said there cannot be development amidst rancour hence the need for all citizens of the state to embrace peace.
Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, popularly known as A. U  Abdullahi, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to support Kaduna state government in its bid to secure more loans to continue its developmental projects.

He also solicited the support of the National Assembly for the Nasir el-Rufai government to get access to more loans, adding that the urban renewal program of Kaduna state government is positively transforming the state.

The Garkuwan added that Kaduna state is a satellite of Abuja and home to many elites, hence the need to support and sustain the renewal projects.
“I appeal to the two chamber of the National Assembly to do their best in convincing the Federal Government to support Kaduna state with N1 trillion to execute more meaningful projects.

“There is urgent need for the loan considering the machineries put in motion by the state government, which is bringing positive results. Kaduna state needs rapid economic growth and Mr. President and our able lawmakers must be part of it.”
