A delegate, Prof. Aishatu Madawa, representing Sokoto State has criticized President Goodluck Jonathan over what she called injustice against the northern region of the country when a special agency NDDC and Ministry of Niger delta was created to take care of the South south region.

Prof. Aishatu said good governance requires leading by example, adding that President Jonathan has been in office for five years while the country remains what it has been for more than two decades.
She also expressed worries that the outcome the three month-conference may be swept under the carpet like the previous reports and recommendations.

“We talk of fairness, but when we look at the South south region, we have NDDC taking care of the region, we also have a whole ministry of Niger Delta. But what do we have in the North? She queried.
Also in his contribution, Mr. Ezekiel Izuogu, said President Jonathan in his inaugural speech avoided highlighting Nigeria weaknesses to include tribalism and corruption
He said countries like Malaisia and others use technology to create jobs for their citizens, saying he hopes Nigerians in 2015 general election will elect President who can teach them on how to use their hands to work.
