Congress: Dogara’s faction to challenge results soon –Jibrin

The Bauchi guber aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Captain Bala Jibrin, yesterday boasted that Speaker, Yakubu Dogara’s faction will challenge the failed congresses of the party across Bauchi State.
Jibrin, who responded to a text message, condemned the ward and council so-called congresses in Bauchi State, noting that there was no proper election during the APC Congresses in the State.
Jibrin described the congresses as a setup to scare the supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari away from the exercise.
“Let me tell you that very soon, the results of our complaints will be made public by the appropriate authorities as a measure to rescue the party from losing to the opposition ahead of 2019 elections”, he told an online news site.
The gubernatorial aspirant stressed that only anointed candidates were pencilled as party executives without regards to strict adherence to elections guidelines of the party.
According Jibrin, their faction will not fold their hands while antics of democracy hijack the APC in Bauchi State.
“We pleaded with the APC National headquarters to hurriedly intervene to save the party from sliding and losing to the opposition come 2019,” said Jibrin
The APC, Jibrin claimed, was a party that was formed out of the genuine desire for justice and fairness, pointing out those enemies of democracy were out to destroy it.
