State chairmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have lamented what they called “use and dump” method of the party leaders, especially the state governors.

The lamentation came at a time the party is about to commence its nationwide congresses.

Speaking at an interactive meeting with the National Caretaker Committee on the forthcoming exercise, Friday in Abuja, Chairman  Forum of APC State Caretaker Chairmen and Caretaker Chairman ofBorno state, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, said he was forced to openly express his displeasure about the development.

“We are very happy we are proud, you people that are steering the party we are proud of you. Why I said this is that the Caretaker Committee brought three executive governors into our party.

“But let me also declar my anger and my worry, why I said this is that publicly I am saying this, we are not happy with some of our governors, they used the chairmen and dumped them.”

In his welcome address, APC national secretary John James Akpanudoedehe, urged the state leaders to take the congresses exercise important for the progress of the party.

“As you are aware, the Congresses of our party will commence soon, it became pertinent that we brief you as a First-Line-Charge, on the details of the exercise and what is expected of you.

“On behalf of the CECPC, may I thank you for the work you’re doing in your states, especially with the membership registration and Peace-building.

“Although, there are some of the states that we’ve received complaints over the handling of the registration exercise, we shall not generalise it and we’ll see how to prevent it from happening in this context,” Akpanudoedehe said.
