In compliance with the federal government directive that all institutions in the country should close immediately to curtain the spread of coronavirous, authorities of the federal Polytechnic Offa , Kwara state has shut down its two campuses.
The authority of the polytechnic has also directed that all academic activities be suspended till further notice.
A statement made available to our correspondent in Ilorin Saturday by the polytechnic’s director Information , Public Relations and Protocol ,Yinka Iroye said no student will be allowed entrance into the two campuses of the institution until further notice.
The statement reads “Consequent upon the directive of the federal government that all instructions in the country should close immediately to curtain the spread of COVID 19, the Rector, on behalf of the management and Academic Board has directed that all academic activities should cease forth with.
“Students are therefore not allowed into the two campuses until further notice”.
