The Senior Magistrate, Mr Chukwuemeka Ubani, sentenced them to 10 months imprisonment or N15,000 fine each for the three-count charge after they pleaded guilty.
Ubani admitted the eight others, who pleaded not guilty, to bail for N30,000 and a surety each.
He ordered that the surety must be resident within the court’s jurisdiction.

The magistrate also directed that the surety must show evidence of house rent receipts for the past six months.
Ubani adjourned the matter to May 19, for hearing.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Cpl. Paul Anigbo, told the court that on April 6, at about 11.20 a.m, one Mr Wale Ezekiel of Lugbe Zone 9, Off Airport Road, reported the case to the Lugbe Police station.
Anigbo told the court that the 13 accused persons and one Lawal Abubakar, now at large, on the same date at about 7 a.m., armed with cutlasses and sticks, tried to unleash mayhem on the people.

The prosecutor told the court that they marched to Lugbe zones 6, 7 and 9, and in the process, smashed the windscreen of a Honda Halla car with registration number AE 66 KUJ, valued at N40, 000.
Anigbo also informed the court that the accused damaged the window glass of one Christ Apostolic Church in that area valued at N10, 000.
The prosecutor told the court that the offences contravened Sections 79, 107, and 327 of the Penal Code.
He said the offences were punishable with seven years imprisonment or fine, or with both.
He urged the court to grant him a date to open his case against the eight accused who pleaded not guilty. (NAN)
