COVID-19: Coronavirus cases from Ibadan-based coy now 76


Oyo state governor Engr Seyi Makinde, Thursday said 15 more persons from the troubled Ibadan South west organisation have been confirmed, making a total of 76 coronavirus cases in the same company.
The governor via his Twitter handle said four new Covid-19 positive cases were also recorded from 3  local government areas in the state.


He gave the breakdown of the new cases as “15 from iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West Local Government Area (LGA), two are from Ido LGA, one more person from Ibadan South West LGA and one from Ibadan South East LGA.”
He said as at the moment, the total number of confirmed coronavirus positive cases in Oyo state is 162.


However, as at the time of sending this report, the Oyo state COVID-19 Task Force has commenced decontamination of the organisation’s office complex located at the Oba Adebimpe area of Dughe in Ibadan.
