“We are partnering with the Kaduna state government in term of personal protective equipment and palliatives because of the pandemic ravaging the country, to ease the impact on the vulnerable people in the state,” he said.
According to Collins, “The items donated to Kaduna state government include 12 bags of rice, 52 cartons of indomie noodles and 10 packs of face mask. This is our own little way of showing solidarity to the state government by supporting the poor people in the state”.
A patron of the company, who is also a member representing Jaba Federal Constituency, Mr Monday Samson Dikko, described the donation as a very kind gesture.

According to him, BF SUMA only provide health services but because of the world epidemic, they deemed it fit to donate palliatives to the state government to be shared among the less privilege in support of the fight against the epidemics.
He however called on other companies, corporate organizations and wealthy individuals to emulate the gesture, adding that leaving the government alone to face the challenge will defeat the aims and objectives.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health and Human Services, Alhaji Mohammed Bashir, expressed the state government’s appreciation to the donor, noting that the state government is doing its best in the fight against the pandemic. He said the donation will help government to extend palliative sharing to more less privilege and vulnerable in the state.
