The Taraba state Technical Committee on COVID-19 Wednesday said it has forwarded 300 contact tracing cases to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in Abuja.
The chairman of the Committee, Dr Innocent Vakai, stated this while briefing newsmen in Jalingo.
Vakai, who is also the commissioner for health said that the committee was expecting the results from the NCDC.
He recalled that 134 travellers who were intercepted and quarantined were discharged from the isolation centre before their results came and seven tested positive.
He also recalled that the committee lunched contact tracing and found 300 suspects who were sent for confirmation.
He maintained that Taraba state has no single active case at the moment.
He called on the people of the state to comply with the lockdown order and other precautionary measures.
