The National Vice Chairman, North Central Zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Suleiman Wambai said the party is committed to ensuring full implementation of its policies and programmes for the common good of Nigerians.
He stated this while speaking with Blueprint on Monday in Lafia.
Wambai said President Muhammadu Buhari had remained focused and undeterred in his efforts to make life better for the citizenry despite the COVID -19 pandemic.
He said COVID 19 had adversely affected virtually every aspects of the nation’s economy. The APC chieftain then called on Nigerians to be positive and continue to support the federal government in its bid to end the pandemic.
“I am appealing to all Nigerians to pray for God’s intervention to heal the country of coronavirus pandemic, and other ills currently ravaging the country.”
Wambai also urged APC supporters to put the interest and survival of the party first in resolving their differences.
The APC zonal leader also said the ruling party was working assiduously to lobby for more federal government presence in the zone in terms of projects and appointments, just as he pledged the support of its members in the zone to enable President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed.
