Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge have announced that their Nigerian forward David Okereke has tested positive for coronavirus.
”David Okereke tests positive for Covid-19. The attacker was immediately quarantined and will be retested next week,”reads a tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old was on target in Brugge’s 4-1 home win against Waasland-Beveren last Saturday.
He has scored once in four league appearances for Philip Clement’s men this season.
Okereke linked up with Club Brugge from Serie B club Spezia last summer.
