Crisis rocks Delta APGA as party suspends chairman indefinitely

 

The State Executives of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) yesterday suspended Delta state chairman of the party, Mr. Afam Enemokwu, over an allegations of unethical activities.
In a statement, the state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Akpomedaye Onoruvie, said the motion for the indefinite suspension was moved by Hon. Ifeanyi Osaneku and seconded by Mr. Seipulou Joe during a meeting in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.
Onoruvie said while the embattled state chairman was on suspension following allegations of gross misconduct, the Deputy state chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Ibordor acts as the state party chairman pending when the issue resolved.
He said the state executive has constituted a seven-man disciplinary committee headed by Amaechi Nwabueze to look into allegations levelled against the suspended state chairman.
While reacting to the allegations, the embattled chairman has described his suspension as unfounded, saying that those behind the suspension are not known, pointing out that he still remains the authentic chairman of the party. Nobody had suspended anybody. There was no meeting of the party held in Ozoro, Isoko North.
