CSO counsels Bogoro to beware of saboteurs

The Civil Society Coalition for Transparency (CSCT) has commended the impact of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) projects in the Nigeria education section under the leadership of the Executive Secretary, Professor Suleiman Bogoro, while charging him to beware of saboteurs who may want to hinder his strides in the sector.

The group in a statement by its president, Comrade Mike Femi, at the weekend in Abuja, said the efforts of the Fund has given Nigerian tertiary education a face-lift through its various infrastructural development, thereby giving Nigerian students  more conducive learning environment.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari’s reappointment of Bogoro as Executive Secretary of the Fund is rewarding as he has helped to reshape and develop the nation’s education system.

He, therefore, called on the government to improve funding for the agency for greater performance, while calling on the executive secretary to be focused and circumspect so as not to get distracted by activities of saboteurs in attempts to frustrate his efforts.“We will work with the ES so as to achieve his dream for the agency, as his vision and determination to improve the nation’s education system for better global rankings and recognition is in line with the coalition’s key values,” he said.
