Customs takes anti-smuggling war to traders, others

Inline with the federal government commitments to ensure food sufficiency and boost the country economy the Nigerian customs service Adamawa/Taraba  command has taken its anti smuggling war especially foreign rice to the doorstep of traders, millers, transporters among other stakeholders within the command. 

Speaking in an interactive session with the concerned stakeholders in the command office in yola, yesterday the comptroller of custom adamawa /Taraba command  kamarudeen olumoh read riot act to the stakeholders at the meeting saying that, they will go after the bad ones in their mids in their business locations and hide out. 

He  noted that officers and men of the command Will soon raid all markets and strategic locations within the command in  search of foreign rice , smugglers and their collaborators and anyone found wanting will be seriously dealt with according to the law describing it as an holistic war that must be fought and won at all cost and by all means.
