Dani Alves set to exit PSG

Dani Alves has confirmed he is leaving PSG hours after captaining and scoring in Brazil’s 5-0 Copa America win against Peru.

The right back signed for the French club in 2017 after previous spells at Barcelona, Sevilla and Juventu

Alves won two Ligue 1 titles and one French Cup in his two seasons at Parc des Princes.

The 36 year-old, who has 107 caps for Brazil, made seven assists and scored once in 23 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season.

On his Instagram account, Alves posted: “Today I close another cycle in my life, a cycle of victory, learning and experiences. I would like to thank the PSG family for the opportunity to together build a page in the history of this club.”
