Dare, Dalung condole with the family of Nwosu

Federal Government and former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung have expressed shock and sadness over the sudden death of Ndidi Nwosu, a para-powerlifter athlete who represented Nigeria at different international competitions. 


Expressing deepest condolences and sympathy with the family of the late iconic powerlifter, speaking on behalf of the federal government, Sports minister, Mr Sunday Dare, recalled and extolled the podium performances of Nwosu, which etched and ranked the name of her fatherland- Nigeria- amongst the world great Para powerlifters on the international scene, most prominent amongst her achievements was as a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Australia.


The Minister stated that Nigeria will forever remember her as a patriot, committed to the cause of advancing her fatherland in the annals of Para Power lifting competitions globally.
On his part, the immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung has commiserated with the Nigeria Paralympic Federation over the death of World record holder and Paralympic gold medalist Ndidi Nwosu.
