Sophia Momodu, one of the babymama’s of the Nigerian music star Davido, has caused a social media frenzy after announcing her intention to change her daughter’s surname to Momodu.
In a series of posts on her Snapchat page, on Monday, Momodu expressed her eagerness to replace the Adeleke family name with her own.
Drawing inspiration from actress Tonto Dikeh, she boldly proclaimed herself as both a father and mother to her daughter, Imade.
By suggesting the name change, the renowned fashion enthusiast indirectly implies that Davido, a prominent figure in the Nigerian music industry, has failed in his responsibilities as a father.
She wrote, “I can’t wait to change her last name… I still believe Momodu is fitting, as I play the roles of both a mom and dad.”
