The Minister of Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen has described the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Attahiru and other Senior Officers and Men as unfortunate, lamenting that the sad event came at a time when the Nation is grappling with so many security challenges.
In a statement made available to Journalists Sunday, Pauline on behalf of Nigerian Women join the President and Grand Commander of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari to mourn what she described as “a national disaster.
“I also on behalf of Nigerian Women and Children commiserate with the families, colleagues and friends of these great Nigerians who have paid the ultimate price in service to our Motherland.
“May their souls and the souls of all faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace,” she prayed.
