The Senators who were led to the State House by the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (APC Abia North), resolved to shelve their plans of dumping the party after meeting with the President.

Plan of Defection by the Senators was sequel to the losses suffered by them at APC primaries last month.

“Our meeting with Mr President was successful and the issue of decamping from our party has been laid to rest”, he said.
