The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has encouraged Governor-elect, Simon Lalong to deliver the materials benefit of governance to the electorates of Plateau state.
The Commission’s National Commissioner, Prof. Antonia Simbine, made the encouragement Friday while presenting Certificates of Return to Lalong and his deputy Sonni Tyoden at the INEC collation center in Jos.
She said: “I believe that your victory at both the initial and supplementary elections, both culminating in your reelection is a referendum in which the People of Plateau State have passed a vote of confidence.”
“I encourage you to deliver more material benefits to your people in order to meet their governance aspirations.”
