The immediate past chairman of Kuje area council, Hon. Danladi Etsu Zhin, has said that freedom and human rights, as a guarantee under the nation’s constitution, “does not in any way encourage lawlessness.”
“There is no such thing as freedom without obligation to obey the law in Nigerian democracy,” he said.

Zhin stated this during Waka About Grassroots Media at the first edition of nation’s children’s cultural festival for peace and unity in Nigeria in Abuja.
According to him, every citizen is duty-bound to exercise his or her freedom within the ambit of the law.
He said President Goodluck Jonathan attached great importance to the maintenance of law and order, adding that the security of lives and property was one of the most important factors of development in any society.

Zhin, a House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kuje, Abaji, Kwali and Gwagwalada constituency, commended security agencies in Abuja and in the entire country for their efforts in controlling crime and criminality.
Zhin, who was also conferred with Ambassador of peace for Grassroots award by Waka About Grassroots Media, also called on students to guide against social vices that could hamper the development of the country.

In his welcome address, the president of Waka  About  Grassroots Media, Prince Happy Joe Isitua, said in collaboration with the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Ethics and Values they put up “this event to promote cultural rebirth and orientation amongst Nigerian children.
Speaking earlier, the Special Adviser to the President on Ethics and Values, Chief Dr (Mrs.) Sarah Jibril, urged the children to “go and be good ambassadors” of their schools, adding that “Nigerians, especially the local government chairmen “should not steal our money, but should only preach ethics and values for the betterment of our younger generation.”
