Residents of Kuchiko-Bwari, in Bwari Area Council, said lack of good roads and other social amenities are major issues which have confronted the community for years.

Kuchiko-Bwari is a community along the Nigerian Law School, Bwari which connects KuchikoIjah, New Bwari and Ijah-Koro in the neighbouring Niger state.

One of the residents and village head of the area, Alhaji Aminu Jagaba disclosed that the only road that connects the place with Bwari main town, starting from Nigeria Law School had been in bad shape for quite sometimes without attention from any quarter.

Jagaba, said from the area to Bwari, is few minutes’ drive but lamented the condition of the road, which has made those that ply it spending time on it for hours before reaching their destinations.

He identifi ed the poor state of electricity, moribund school structure as some of the issues that needed urgent government attention by the FCT administration.

Th e community leader stated that there have been several complaints to the previous administrations of Bwari council but to no avail.

Also, a female member of the community simply identifi ed as Malama Binta, regretted that the only health centre which was provided by a corps member in 2014 has been off ering skeletal services without reasonable number of personnel.

She urged the present chairman, Musa Dikko, to table the issue before the minister of FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello to proff er solution.
