A Sokoto state delegate, Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, has attributed the peaceful deliberations prevalent at the conference to the 70 percent voting pattern.

Dingyadi said 70 percent was a landmark victory to the conference saying that Nigerians were not as difficult as people think.
The former governorship aspirant in Sokoto state noted that little effort, consultations, contact and dialogue have continued to guide deliberations  at the conference

He stated that the country can be great if the spirit of compromise and agreement would continue to characterize discussions till the end of the conference.
According to Dingyadi, he was delighted that so many delegates while debating the president’s speech spoke about the unity of the country, about the need for consensus and the need to tread with caution to move the country forward.
He said the 50 delegates were not super delegates but people selected across the country to deliberate and find solution to the contentious issue expressing gladness that they were able to untie the knot.
