Director lauds Masari for appointing Kuki as new pilgrims board boss


Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state has been commended for appointing Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki as the new executive director of the Katsina State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, describing the appointment as square peg in the a square hole. 


Former director of education and social services in the state, Malam Abdu Bawa Dutsinma, made the submission on Thursday while speaking to newsmen in Kaduna. 
Abdu Bawa said the choice will not be regretted and Alhaji Suleiman would not disappoint the state in the discharge of his duty because of his vast experience in public service. 


According to him, “Alhaji Suleiman Kuki has never been found wanting throughout his service years. He has served right from the defunct Kaduna state to the time Katsina state was created 33 years ago up to the present appointment as executive director of the state pilgrims welfare board.
“The new appointee had displayed tolerance, perseverance and honesty in all responsibilities given to him. During his stewardship as executive chairman of Katsina universal basic education board, primary schools and the teachers, as well as other staff welfare were accorded top priority  attention. 


“Similarly, Abdul Bawa Dutsinma during his stay in Kaduna state as liaison officer, he was dedicated and committed at ensuring the well-being of all visitors both high and low.”
He urged him to sustain such attributes in the discharge of his newly found appointment for the overall development of the state, while praying for a successful stewardship.
