Domestic passengers route records 147,823 in 2017

Private aircraft passengers and aircraft movement for 2017 showed that total domestic passengers movement by 41 identified private jet operators was 147,823 in 2017.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in its Aviation Sector report for 2017 revealed that Lagos recorded the highest passengers movement with 65,069 followed by Abuja with 28,556 and Osubi with 24,166.
This represents a 44.9 per cent, 19.3 per cent and 16.4 per cent of total passengers conveyed respectively.
Zaria 49), Kebbi (162) and Gombe (389) has the lowest passengers traffic accounting for 0.0 per cent, 0.1 per cent and 0.3 per cent of the total passengers conveyed.
Similarly, total International Passengers Movement by 41 identified private jet operators was 32,711 in 2017, with Kano (16,205) and Abuja (8,536) recording the highest passengers movement accounting for 49.5 per cent and 26.1 per cent of total passengers conveyed respectively.
While locations with the lowest passengers movement were Enugu (0) and PHC (82) accounting for 0.0% and 0.3% of the total passengers conveyed.
